The Leningradka Derby takes the stage on Friday as Khimki Moscow Region hosts CSKA Moscow in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Game of the Week.
It is one of several cross-town rivalries in the EuroLeague, with a distance between the club headquarters that is a tad longer than that of Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, a tad shorter than between Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
Leningradka Avenue has been the symbolic line between these teams from south-central and north Moscow even though each has changed arenas recently and can t use that road as direct connection to their games.
