A friend of murdered California store owner Laura Carleton said footage of her killer shows him seeming to pause and flinch before shooting her.

Killer Travis Ikeguchi appeared to pause before opening fire, according to an acquaintance who viewed the disturbing footage

Every time someone removed the Pride flag at her store, Laura Ann Carleton would replace it. Then she was shot and killed.

Friends and family say the slain Lake Arrowhead shop owner and mother of nine was a pillar in the community, equal parts entrepreneur and advocate.

LAKE ARROWHEAD, Calif. — As a gay man, Bob Stuhr appreciated that Laura Ann Carleton flew a rainbow flag outside her clothing business in Lake Arrowhead.

The man, whose identity has not been released, fled the scene on foot.

The man accused of fatally shooting a Southern California clothing store owner after an argument about a rainbow Pride flag hanging outside her business, had social media accounts containing anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-law-enforcement material, sheriff’s office officials said in a Monday news conference.

Laura Carleton was shot and killed outside of her store on Friday over a dispute about a Pride flag she flew outside of her shop, police said.
