TAUNTON Latin may be called a dead language but to Aidan Scully it is full of life and endlessly fascinating.
The Taunton High School senior is set to attend Harvard University this fall with the goal of studying the classics.
He said he hopes to one day be a Latin teacher after years of being inspired by his Latin teacher at Taunton High School, as well as his father, Christopher Scully, who also teaches Latin and was assistant superintendent of schools in Taunton until 2018.
President of the Latin Club at Taunton High, Aidan Scully said he loves the language and texts they explore.
