A strong anti-incumbency wave, discontent over local leadership, defections, polarisation and a BJP surge has seen West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, change ten of the 18 candidates in Hooghly district, that is considered to be a Trinamool-Congress citadel.
