An armed man in body armor tried to breach a security screening area at an FBI field office Thursday, then fled & was injured in an exchange of gunfire.

FPD said a caller to 911 told dispatchers the caller's husband, the suspect, "was armed with a knife, mentally unstable at the front door and was trying to get into the home."
