The surfer community. It happened at 1 30 in afternoon two miles down the coast here. Now, the 26 ben kelly. He worked as a board shaper and was known for his passion for surfing. Today, flowers are strewn along Sand Dollar Beach to remember ben. Some placed a piece of the surf board near the growing memorial. All beaches in the area one mile north and one mile south of where the attack happened are now closed. They will remain closed until may 14th. Thousands of customers are without power right now. According to pge, there are 47,000 Northern California customers without their power. The bay area, nearly 17,000 customers are in the dark. Crews are working throughout the night to restore power to customers and tonight dave has been tracking this storm for us all day long. The thing is, this is starting to wind down.
