Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Oct. 29 through Nov. 5, 2023. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work: There will be brief closures on I-580 between northern Carson City and Washoe Valley Sunday morning, Oct. 29 from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

NV Energy and the Nevada Department of Transportation are announcing brief closures of Interstate 580 between northern Carson City and Washoe Valley during the morning of Sunday, Oct. 29. A similar closure happened on Sunday, Oct. 22.

The Nevada Appeal, the Silver States oldest continuously run newspaper, first published on May 16, 1865.
