The Feb. 13 explosion in Ottawas east end that levelled several buildings and forced dozens of people from their homes is now a criminal case, Ottawa police say.

A fire on Roberts Road Thursday afternoon left one person inside the home dead. The cause is still being investigated.

The fire was reported at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, in the 100 block of Lemay Gardens Drive.

Lt. Jason Brice with the Lemay Fire Department said firefighters were called just before 10 a.m. to a fire in the 1200 block of Wachtel Avenue.

Firefighters from Imperial Beach, Coronado, Chula Vista and San Diego all responded to the scene in the 600 block of Emory St. around 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 4.

Kansas City authorities briefly investigated what was believed to be a suspicious package at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday.

The ATF was looking for the person driving a red truck in connection to an attempted arson at a business.

Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that erupted at an El Cajon home Friday morning.

Emergency crews were called early Friday morning to a fire at the Denny's restaurant on Front Street.

Fire cause $250,000 in damages to two tractor-trailers
