The Election Commission will hold all postponed elections, including the by-polls to Lakshmipur-2 constituency, first phase of union parishad and sixth phase of municipality polls, on June 21.
The commission also announced to hold by-polls to Sylhet-3, Dhaka-14 and Cumilla-5 constituencies on July 14, EC Secretary Humayun Kabir Khandaker said today after a meeting at EC office.
Humayun Kabir said all the elections would take place, strictly maintaining Covid 19 health guidelines.
According to schedules for by-elections to Sylhet-3, Dhaka-14 and Cumilla-5 constituencies, the deadline for submitting nomination papers is June 15.

Twenty nine municipalities in 20 districts go to polls today amid worries over violence and confusion among many voters about Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
The worries and confusion stemmed from the record of municipality polls in previous phases and some remarks made by ruling party leaders.
The Election Commission is holding the polls, which take place every five years, in six phases. The fifth phase is being held today.
EC Secretary Humayun Kabir yesterday said that they took all measures to hold the election peacefully and in a free and fair manner.
Talking about violence during the campaign and on election day, Humayun said, We have asked law enforcers to take steps against any kind of untoward incidents.

Twenty-four municipalities will go to polls today using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) amid confusion among voters about uses of the machines.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Election Commission (EC) will conduct municipalities polls in four phases this time. Today will be the first phase.
The battle of ballots is expected to be held between two arch-rival political parties Awami League and BNP although candidates of other political parties including Jatiya Party and Islami Andolan Bangladesh are contesting in it.
