He is preceded in death by his Father William Charles Thomas Schaefer and stepfather E. J. “Jay” Lion. Grandparents, William Charles Schaefer, Mary Teresa Schaefer, Coleen Powledge, and Gwenlyn “G.A.” Powledge.
