WERT — The Van Wert City Schools Board of Education met Wednesday. A
presentation on the Van Wert Elementary School Regulation Unit led off
the meeting. The Board was also informed that two employees have
advanced or will advance on the salary schedule due to additional
college coursework. Jessica Small has moved from Masters to Masters plus
15 effective April 1. Traci McCoy will advance from Masters to Masters

TEXAS — Not surprisingly, the reaction from Texas politicians to Biden’s address to congress falls along party lines.
Texas Democrats mostly praised Biden while Texas Republicans are warning Americans that the president is trying to promote a far-left, radical agenda.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Houston) prepared several lengthy tweets condemning Biden's speech calling it “The Real State of the Union” and saying “Biden’s radical vision for our country is an American nightmare.”
