Wind Energy Capital of North America” painted across the 160-foot structure. What You Need To Know Texas produces more wind energy than any other U.S. state. While wind-generated energy is environmentally friendly, decommissioned wind turbine blades are difficult to dispose of, any thousands have piled up in landfills New technology is being created to recycle the blades, including hundreds of blades stored in fields in Sweetwater, Texas

Texas politicians react to President Joe Biden's address

Texas politicians react to President Joe Biden's address to Congress By Ashley McElroy Texas SHARE TEXAS — Not surprisingly, the reaction from Texas politicians to Biden’s address to congress falls along party lines.  Texas Democrats mostly praised Biden while Texas Republicans are warning Americans that the president is trying to promote a far-left, radical agenda.  Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Houston) prepared several lengthy tweets condemning Biden's speech calling it “The Real State of the Union” and saying  “Biden’s radical vision for our country is an American nightmare.”  The Real State of the Union: Joe Biden is trying to claim credit for America’s coming victory over the COVID-19 pandemic while only 9% of his $1.9 trillion COVID bill goes to actual COVID relief. pic.twitter.com/dn3cbrOuVq
