“Dumsor” timetable for Volta and Oti regions out Listen to article The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has released a power rationing timetable for the Volta and Oti regions. This according to GRIDCo is to enable them “undertake repair works on their transformer that supplies power to both Volta and Oti Regions through the 69 KV transmission line from the Asiekpe Bulk Supply Point.” GRIDCo placed a request to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), to enforce the power outages from Thursday, March 18 to Monday, March 22, 2021. However, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo), Mr Jonathan Amoako-Baah, had earlier assured Ghanaians that dumsor is not back despite the recent frequent power outages experienced across the country even though he admitted that the country will experience power outages in the coming months due to ongoing repair works.
