Doctor warren hern is a boulder physician an epidemiologist who has conducted ecological and research in the peruvian amazon among the ship people, native amazonian people in 1964. He is professor adjunct at the department of boulder and the department of colorado medical campus. His Scientific Research and reports concerning ecology, human fertility, demography, population matters, and abortion which have been published in a wide variety of International Scientific journals. In 1973, dr. Hern was a founding medical of a first private nonprofit Medical Clinic in colorado which opened in boulder in november, 1973. Gary and ta rhonda with us, and meteorologist con con is with us and there is a small chance of storms but looking warm and dry. So warm during the day. And most of the daytime will be dry. We will have to wait until after 5 00, to get them, any storms off the foothills and moving down here. We have another morning, with some action going on, in southwestern colorado. And there is a single storm th north and east of cortez, heading up to the purgatory ski area. And up north in wyoming, some thunderstorms are rolling on up north of larimer and torington. And the dense fog advisory from kit carson and burning off until the day goes on. And watch how the humidity increases in the mountain areas during the day. And thats because that little storm down south is just the beginning of several that will foothills during the afternoon. And through Summit County and kenosha pass and start to fizzle out a

Heres a live look from akron. A lot of orange and blue. Nice start to our friday. Beautiful day. Not as warm as the past few days, but still mild. Noon, 50. 4 00, 53. Plenty of sunshine this mmrning. A few louds filter in, but you have low to mid50s covering most of us around denver. If you get closer to freely or `fort collins, its greeley or fort collins its a touch cooler. Mountains could really use snow, but today sunssine and 40s. Just look at them. Would you look at them. Go look at them. A good drive from airtracker 7 at highway 36, passing pecos, theres i25 transitioning to the headlights here, thats i 76. And you can see the dark areas on that west side of i76. Easy drive so far. Overall map, i76, i25, 36, 270. Little bit more traffic here and there. Will start getting more congested.
Bit, but weve had gusts upwards of 30, 40 Miles Per Hour. Further north we came from highway 128 and stronger winns. Here comes one of those gusts now. It was rocking the truck pretty good as we approached highway 93. As we got to the Center Section it mellowed out a bit. But as you can see, it does pick up and get gusty. For this area we understand the Wind Warnings are set to expire about 5 00 a. M. Were goiig to stick around and keep an eye on things and let you know how it is. If youre headed out this way in a high profile vehicle, use a lot of caution. It was rocking our suv around just a little bit. Theres one of those really strong gusts as you see it. Back to you guys. Do cowboy hats come with straps, like the kid ones . They need to. its really gusty out there, especiaaly closer to the foothills. Overnight we had wind speeds overrloveland pass. Whats falling now is pretty light. Look behind me. Some of this issdrifts. But look, weve got more than a foot of snow when it comes to the drifts. Im not very tall, up to my knees doesnt mean much. But look at the snow on top of this car. You can see lots of snow. About 8 inches that has fallen in this area. Its the reason the Boulder Mountain Valley School are on a two hour delay. It affects only the Mountain Valley schools. These ggys have been out all morning long clearing the sidwalks, the pathwayss a lot of snow the farther west you head. But in town, definitely not dealing with as much. Were live in nedderland. But not absolutely frigid. Thats why i live in nedderland, a good 4 to 8 inches in most spots. Here in denver, very light. Our totals about half an inch to 2 inches. You can see from this camera shot, this is at the airport, skies are starting to clear. Might find a flurry or two this morning, but radar clearing up from northeast to southwest. Up and through parts of Jeff
