It is to be mentioned that as many as 7,46,667 beneficiaries of tea gardens were covered under the scheme. Notably, the scheme was launched in Financial Year (FY) 2017-18. The main objective of the scheme is to incentivize and strengthen the efforts of financial inclusion of the tea tribe community.
