I know if i read my history right, the russians when they left the air field sprayed commercial pesticides. Killing tens of thousands of people. I was there early. We were kicking around this stuff that was a foot thick breathing it. That was one of my first concerns when i left my exit eval and i suffered from Different Things ever since. Im here to help with that study. I volunteered for a lot of things, but the whole system is broke. Hanks. Mplingts my name is ed lutz, army benjamin. I had a whole bunch of things i wanted to go over but it seems like everybody has already hit on everything. So a couple things i really wanted to touch on was the payments youre passing out the papers youre passing out, how these people fill it out. This is the first time this has happened. Theyve had these suggestion boxes all over the v. A. That people never did anything with. As a matter of fact, some of them are still up. Following up be on these . With these i go through them. I have to figure out
And three. , and i really want to show my appreciation for this. For your services their and your up and to keep it mixed lively. And all around international viewpoints. I just watched your Global Warming show. That itlike to say would be nice if cspan would hold people at least accountable for the noneffects that they spew out. It would put everybodys mind at ease about trying to explain this if you had put the picture of the huge trash squirrel in the Pacific Ocean right now trash swirl in the Pacific Ocean right now the size of texas. When you do your reading, put pictures up, also. As i wouldve ended the denial because that would have ended the denial. I do not know how wide it is. To president chiu, our clerk angela did issue that memo. There is a rationale for us to follow through with voting today. But i wanted to say as your colleague, supervisor chiu, for now six years on this body, youre a friend for since the 90s, that this is not the way to leave this body. Its creating more division a were being forced to vote. Im in support of all of us that will have to Work Together in the next couple of weeks to select a permanent board president for the next two years, but i dont think its in the spirit of collegiality as others have said. I dont intend to participate in a vote today to select somebody because i think its illegitimate and its not fair to this body and it leaves us in a more divided manner than we should be. People who had worked together for many, many years at city hall, to actually stage the vote today when that colleague is not here is not healing. Its about taking away the right we should all have to take part in making democracy happen in this very chamber. And, so, colleagues, i really hope that we do not vote today. I do not think it is what we should be doing. Its not collegial. Its not working out. I think next week one of our other members, i believe cohen is not going to be here. We shouldnt vote next week either because i dont think malia cohen and her district should be excluded from having a determination who is going to be the interim board president , but it makes sense is ~ that we are all going to be here next week to vote. I dont think we should send this to committee. I think we should continue this item to the ninth, but send it to commi
