Note: this blog post has been put together over the course of the week I followed the happenings at the conference virtually. Should recordings of the Great Debates and possibly Union Symposia mentioned below, be released sometime after the conference ends, I ll include links to the ones I participated in.
This year s General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) will take place as a fully hybrid conference in both Vienna and online from April 15 to 19. I decided to join the event virtually this year for the full week and I ve already picked several sessions I plan to attend. Among them are two sessions, I ll be presenting in. This blog post provides an overview of my itinerary.
Members of the media, public information officers and science bloggers are now invited to register online for the meeting free of charge. EGU24 will be held from 14-19 April, 2024 both in-person (Vienna, Austria) and online.
During most of 2023 we highlighted one updated rebuttal per week, output from our quite productive Rebuttal Update Factory. Cranky Uncle learned a few new languages during the year and we could add several handbook translations. But there was a lot more to keep us busy during the year! As in previous recaps, this one is divided into several sections:
Like earlier this year, members from our team will be involved with next year s General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU). The conference will take place on premise in Vienna as well as online from April 14 to 19, 2024. The session catalog has been available since November 1 and abstracts can be submitted until January 10, 2024 at 13:00 CET. Below, you ll find information about three sessions we think are worthwhile to get involved with.
