Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], February 6 (ANI): Kerala Police used water cannons and tear gas shells on Youth Congress workers who held a protest against the alleged backdoor appointment made by Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.
The Youth Congress workers staged the protest outside the state Secretariat. The visuals show a clash between the state police and the Youth Congress workers after the police used water cannons and tear gas shells on the protestors.

K V Vijayadas were cremated here on Tuesday with full state
honours. Vijayadas (61), who represented Kongad constituency in
Palakkad district, passed away at Thrissur Medical College on
Monday after he recovered from COVID-19 recently. He had been suffering from post-COVID complicationsand
had undergone a surgery to remove a blood clot in the brain,
