A coalition of student groups are staging a sit-in protest in front of the Cathedral of Learning today through Friday to support the liberation of Palestine and call for Pitt to divest from Israeli institutions. The protestors encamped on a grassy area near Bigelow Boulevard, before moving to Schenly Plaza, where they have spread banners and pro-Palestinian literature.
