The game will air on the ACC Network. FSU head coach Sue Semrau has another matchup with a member of her coaching tree in Lance White as the Seminoles (15-12, 9-8) and Panthers (11-17, 2-15) play in a key game. Semrau has built a strong coaching tree, with eight assistant coaches and players whom have become collegiate basketball head coaches. White spent 15 seasons at Florida State and helped the Seminoles to three NCAA Elite Eights (2010, 2015, 2017) and five NCAA Sweet 16s (2007, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017). Kids wearing their youth league or school’s jersey can purchase tickets for just $3. Former Florida State Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach Ronald Hughey makes his return to Tallahassee leading the Cougars in his eighth season. Hughey was a key part of Head Coach Sue Semrau’s coaching staff from 2012-14, which included two straight seasons where the Seminoles reached the NCAA Second Round. TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Women’s Basketball Head Coach Sue Semrau has announced the addition of assistant coach Craig Carter to the Seminole coaching staff.
“It’s a privilege to be able to work with Coach Carter,” Semrau said. “He is a coach with integrity and extensive experience. He is “fluent” in the game of basketball having hands-on experience in every area. He is also versatile, having served in corporate America and as a teacher. As a former player at Rutgers, he understands the needs and the challenges of the athletes we coach.”
Carter brings a strong background to the Florida State coaching staff, spending the previous five seasons with Wisconsin women’s basketball, including the 2020-21 year as the team’s associate head coach.
