Saxton area businessman Brian Weaver was retained for a 23rd term as chairman of the Liberty Township supervisors during annual reorganizational business conducted in the township building in Stonerstown on Monday evening.
Supervisor John Black, Stonerstown, got the nod for his 20th term as vice-chairman during the reorganizational session. Black and Weaver will be assisted in township business during 2021 by Supervisor Dick McClure of East Saxton.
In other reorganizational business, the supervisors agreed that all three municipal leaders would continue to serve as roadmasters for the new year.
Retained as township consulting engineers was the EADS Group of Altoona, while the supervisors concurred that the First National Bank would remain the townshipâs depository.
