Japanese explorers are now returning to Earth after retrieving amino acids from an asteroid sample. Japanese astronomers have recently discovered amino acids from one asteroid they encountered during the Hayabusa2 spacecraft mission.

A chemical analysis team led by Hokkaido University researchers also began examining the samples using X-rays at Horiba Techno Service in Minami Ward, Kyoto City, a company specializing in research and analytical equipment.
