PCB production in Taiwan is somewhat clustered in the Taoyuan region, where the water shortage alert was on Friday raised from “yellow” to “orange,” resulting in reduced water supplies for households and industrial users.

The Taipei-based company said in a statement that the transaction is part of its financial management. Synnex distributes a wide range of electronic products, from Fitbit Inc’s wearable devices to Asustek Computer Inc’s (華碩電腦) notebook computers. CNA file photo Taipei, May 17 (CNA) Pegatron Corp., one of Taiwan s largest contract PC makers, said Monday that one of its employees has tested positive for COVID-19 as an alert among PC producers has been raised to contain the disease. Pegatron said it was informed by health authorities on Sunday that the employee, who worked in the company s headquarters in Guandu in the northwestern part of Taipei, was a weak positive for the disease and a second test is being done to confirm the result.
