Muscat: Oman Post Asyad Express, a member of Asyad Group and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority, the entrepreneurial growth promoter in the Sultanate, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in scaling up their operations locally and internationally.
The agreement will see six Omani SMEs and four startups and join ‘Tomooh’, the first of-of-its-kind business incubator programme that helps expand Omani SMEs in new and emerging sectors, from e-commerce to operations and logistics. Participants will produce disruptive solutions that have the potential to transform the landscape of e-commerce in Oman

Oman s National Aviation Strategy 2030 to attract companies

Muscat: The Sultanate’s National Aviation Strategy 2030 is designed to attract local and global companies, a senior official stated on the occasion of Oman Post moving its postal and ASYAD Express operations to Muscat International Airport.
The move, part of a strategic agreement between the two companies was announced yesterday. Optimising national aviation assets is a key component of the National Aviation Strategy 2030 which envisages the creation of Airport Cities complete with specialist economic clusters housing Logistics Gates, Business Gates, and Free Zones in and around airports across the Sultanate.
