GUWAHATI: With the surge in Covid-19 cases across Assam, the state government has decided to ramp up testing. However, officials of two districts have alleged that they have run out of testing kits due to supply crunch.
According to the Nagaon district health official, the district exhausted all its available Covid-19 testing kits on Friday as it did not receive the supply of the kits immediately and supposedly could not conduct Covid-19 tests almost throughout the day. “We have already informed about the stocks of testing kits with state authorities.
