Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the
Harrow Times detail the temporary closures that are set to continue into next week and beyond. A section of Borrowdale Avenue, between its junction with Locket Road and a point 22 metres south of that point, will be closed from today for utility works. The order will remain in effect until July 12 but the work is expected to be finished by Wednesday. Six more roads are set to be closed to traffic during daytime hours for most of next week. Vehicles will be prohibited from entering or exiting the full lengths of Whitefriars Road, Wolseley Road, Wellington Road, Cardinal Way, Havelock Road and Gordon Road.

Harrow Times outlines the plans to close the full length of six roads from 8am until 5pm on a daily basis from May 10. The order, if granted, will remain in effect until August 14, but it is anticipated the traffic scheme works will be completed by May 14. The six roads affected are Whitefriars Road, Wolseley Road, Wellington Road, Cardinal Way, Havelock Road and Gordon Road.
