PESHAWAR: The second session of a two-day CPEC Industrial Cooperation Virtual Conference, organised by a Chinese university and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment & Trade as part of 70 Year Celebration of Pak-China friendship was held on Wednesday.
Besides KP BoIT, the event is being organized by Centre for Pakistan Studies, Peking University, Beijing, China.
The conference had a list of panelists from both sides to highlight Industrial Cooperation under CPEC, including Federal Minister Planning Development & Special Initiatives Asad Umar, Ambassador of China to Pakistan Nong Rong, Senator Mushahid Hussain, Chairman, Federal Board of Investment Atif Bukhari, CEO, KP-Board of Investment & Trade Hassan Daud Butt, CEO Pakistan KASB Securities Nasir Ali Shah, Chairperson, SASSI University Dr. Maria Sultan, Executive Director SDPI Dr. Abid Suleri, Associate Professor IBA Dr. Huma Baqai, and panelists from China.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined to complete all China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.
In a meeting on Friday to review progress on the CPEC projects, PM Khan expressed his satisfaction over the pace of the ongoing projects. He said CPEC projects will be completed at all costs.
CPEC is a testimony of the time-tested and deep-rooted Pak-China friendship, the premier said. He expressed the belief that CPEC will continue to take pre-eminence in the country s development strategy.

Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed satisfaction on the pace of work on ongoing schemes under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and reiterated his government’s resolve to complete mega project at all cost. Chairing a high level meeting to review progress on CPEC, the flagship project of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Imran said that CPEC was a testimony of the time-tested and deep-rooted Pak-China friendship and “will continue to take pre-eminence in our development strategy”.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday expressed his satisfaction on the pace of the ongoing projects and reiterated the resolve to complete the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at all costs.
He noted that the CPEC was a testimony of time-tested and deep-rooted Pak-China friendship and “would continue to take pre-eminence in our development strategy”. He particularly emphasised that focus of industrialisation should be export-oriented and import substitution and our policies should be framed accordingly.
Imran Khan also directed to prepare the youth to take up new jobs being created by the incoming industry and high quality agriculture farms. The prime minister chaired a high level meeting to review progress on CPEC, the flagship project of Belt and Road Initiative.
