Juhasz Named to Naismith Midseason Watch List

Share COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State forward Dorka Juhasz has been named to the midseason watch list for the 2021 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Women’s Player of the Year. The 30-player list was announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on Tuesday. Juhasz is averaging a double-double this season with 15.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. She is second in the Big Ten in rebounding and has eight double-doubles on the season. Juhasz is currently riding a four-game double-double streak. The Pecs, Hungary native matched her career-high with 27 points in the win over Miami (Ohio) in December and then helped lead the Buckeyes to a win over No. 7 Maryland by pulling down a career-high tying 16 rebounds. That was the eighth time in her career she had 16 rebounds in a game.
