Shlomi Katzin, a resident of Atlit in the Haifa District of Israel, found a 900-year-old hilted sword when he went diving off Carmel Beach, in the northern coast of the country.

"The recent discovery of the sword suggests that the natural cove was also used in the Crusader period, some 900 years ago," Kobi Sharvit said.
