Meet the mind behind NASA’s recent solar mission. Aroh Barjatya is an Indian-born scientist who is currently working as an Engineering Physics professor and Director of the Space and Atmospheric Instrumentation Lab at ERAU.
"The mission was led by Aroh Barjatya, a professor of engineering physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, where he directs the Space and Atmospheric Instrumentation Lab," NASA said in a statement.
NASA, the US space agency, on April 8 launched three sounding rockets during the solar eclipse visible in North America to study how Earth's upper atmosphere is affected when sunlight momentarily dims over a portion of the planet.
