Republican lawmakers vowed Tuesday to defund any attempt by the Biden administration to enforce a new gun control rule that would reclassify pistols with stabilizing braces as short-barreled rifles.

The "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces" would subject braced pistols to regulations in the National Firearms Act that regulate rifles.
