The top court recalled an order to close down a wine shop 150 meters away from an educational institute and remanded the case to the Madras High Court for a fresh decision.
Attorney General for India R Venkataramani has told the Supreme Court that citizens do not have the right to know about the funding of political parties, in written submission filed in the challenge to electoral bonds.
The plea has challenged Section 15(5) of the CGST Act, Rule 31A of the CGST Rules and a ₹16,000 crore GST show-cause notice issued under the said Rule.
