New primary school for Perth’s southern suburbs officially named Treeby Primary School Community consulted on three options, with the most popular name announced today The $20.3 million school will officially open in 2022 for students from kindergarten to Year 6  Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery today announced ‘Treeby Primary School’ as the official name of the new school opening in the southern suburb of Treeby in 2022. Treeby Primary School was the popular choice among the local community who participated in a survey to give their views on the school name. The new primary school is currently under construction, and scheduled to be completed in November 2021 and opened for the start of the 2022 school year.
