And this will be quite the task for Auburn as 12th ranked Missouri comes to town fresh off a nine point win in Knoxville Saturday night and moved up 7 spots in this week’s AP Top 25. Add Auburn’s game Saturday at #2 Baylor to the list and this will be quite the week for Bruce Pearl and the team.

Well if Alabama wants to win at Auburn Arena, they better do it today. Last year, Alabama made a then SEC record 22 3s against the Tigers in Auburn.. and lost. (You may of course remember that Auburn tied that record earlier this season against South Alabama). Auburn won the 3 games before last year’s at home by 20 PPG. Alabama comes in today at 3-0 in the league with impressive wins over Ole Miss, at Tennessee, and against Florida. Meanwhile, Auburn is 0-3 after losses to Arkansas, Texas A&M and Ole Miss. The Tigers have battled in all 3 games, but have not been able to close one out yet.

After a disappointing loss to Arkansas in the SEC opener, Auburn (6-3, 0-1) hopes to turn the page as they head to the Lone Star State to take on Texas A&M (5-2, 0-1). The Tigers fell 97-85 to Arkansas on Wednesday while the Aggies suffered a 77-54 setback on Tuesday against LSU in Baton Rouge.
