Recognising the challenge of accessing oral information online, especially for communities with low literacy levels, the team devised a solution to empower them using the audio search engine. They got in touch with the organisation ‘Namma Halli Radio’ that had gathered an audio corpus of a few hours containing community interactions in colloquial language.
