Trying to get a sense if were going to actually hear from the president today. he hasnt been answering a whole lot of our questions. i know it really requires looking into a crystal ball. youll be out there trying to get some questions to him. but, look, sarah sanders signaled earlier this week that the president was thinking about revoking some security clearances. the mood at the white house right now? >> youve been witnessing this firsthand over the course of this last week. the president had...

Right there, im not sure we can make that leap. it did sound like a job offer certainly at an extraordinarily high salary for a re-election campaign. dont forget how these campaigns are funded. theyre through small-dollar donations from individuals across the country. and it didnt sound like she would have had that big of a portfolio there had she come on. but had she come on, she would have, of course, had to sign another nondisclosure agreement. thats the rules of the trump campaign. so certai...

Re-tweeting my statement last night, you know, its been getting picked apart today, and that is really why i am here. its because there is something, seriously wrong with society when a woman can run around the white house and surreptitiously record people come possibly in violation of her own national security contract, but yet, katrina and i are the ones who have to come on national television and explain ourselves. you know, ive made it very clear, and i stand by my statement that i released ...

Saying, thank you so much for re-tweeting my statement last night, you know, its been getting picked apart today, and that is really why i am here. its because, there is something seriously wrong with society when a woman can run around the white house and surreptitiously record people come possibly in violation of her own national security contract, but yet, katrina and i are the one who have to come on national television and explain ourselves. you know, ive made it very clear, and i stand by ...

Leave. >> no. nobody even told me about it. >> bret: omarosa is a former white house aide who is now pitching a new book and she has audiotapes of her interactions with the white house chief of staff, the president, perhaps others, she says. the president taking this head-on on twitter, saying "while i know its not presidential" to take on a lowlife like omarosa, and while i would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and i know the fake news media will be working ov...

Betrayed by amarosa, sir? >> uh -- >> get it out of the way! >> low-life. >> instead of talking about how to unify the nation, he actually insulted me by calling me a low-life. that is a man who is inclined to start racially charged engagement and use race to kind of stir up his base. >> well, there it is on a sunday. amarosa versus trump, in a very real, reality tv-like showdown. this morning amarosa newman joining nbcs chuck todd on "meet the press" in an exclusive interview about her tell-all...

Take one. >> is it that he doesnt want to take one or doesnt have enough on the president? >> i think that -- well, it could be both. like i said before, ive had plenty of clients who have taken plea deals that swore they werent guilty. apparently, he hasnt come to the amount of money its taking to defend himself or to the pressure to lie or simply maybe hes just saying he doesnt have anything to do with it and hes that does it for me. im david gura. going to toughen up and i would ill be back...

All good news for the president are something we shouldnt take at face value. we should wait and see if the audiotapes actually emerge. >> lets hear giuliani discussing his present state of mind after the cohen allegations. >> first of all, the president feels disappointed. i think the anger is over. weve assured him in a very strange way this is a very good development for us because we do have all these tapes, and these tapes completely demonstrate the president did nothing wrong. cohen is on ...

House wants the story to be today, this weekend, next week. distract. its important to talk about. he didnt take a single question there about the other relevant stories. >> he didnt take a question. lets be fair, no president would if they didnt want to step on their good news message, which this certainly was. this is good news and its economic news and its substantive news. it takes some of the heat off the president for some of the drama that is relentless and never ending over this michael ...
