FISHERSVILLE, Va. (WHSV) - In Augusta Healthâs latest COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic update, the hospital says walk-ins will now be welcomed for vaccination clinics as supply allows.
However, appointments are still preferred for clinics, which can be scheduled by clicking here. Clinics are now open to any Virginia resident.
In the next few weeks, Augusta Health says Community Vaccine Clinics will be held at local high schools at the request of local school districts. On-campus vaccine clinics with special hours for this week include:

Friday marks the full COVID-19 vaccination of 25,000 community members through Augusta Health Vaccination Clinics.
That was the second of two significant COVID-19 vaccination milestones this week. On Tuesday,, Augusta Health celebrated the administration of 50,000 doses of vaccine.
The total fully vaccinated represents just over 20 percent of the population of Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro, which is estimated at just over 123,000 people.
FISHERSVILLE – Everyone age 16 and older, who lives or works in the Central Shenandoah Health District is now eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine at Augusta Health mass vaccine clinics.
The CSHD is comprised of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, and Rockingham counties, as well as the cities of Staunton, Waynesboro, Lexington, Buena Vista and Harrisonburg.
Pfizer is authorized for individuals 16 and over; Moderna and Johnson & Johnson are authorized for those 18 and over. Anyone under age 18, must have a parent or guardian present for the vaccination appointment.
If you have already received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, do not register for your second dose at the clinics listed below. Second dose appointments and/or instructions to schedule it are provided during your first dose vaccination.
