‘Small Pieces-Big Ideas’ exhibit opens at Solano Town Center Gallery
It features a variety of artwork including paintings, mixed media, photography, glass, sculpture and more.
The exhibit runs through May 22 at 1350 Travis Blvd. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
“Small Pieces-Big Ideas” showcases the artwork of featured artist Bahiya Spaulding, began to paint with watercolors in 1997 after reading a book authored by Geoffrey Williams.
Spaulding was stationed at Royal Air Force Lakenheath in England during her 20 years in the Air Force. While there in 2009, she curated her first art show.
She retired from the Air Force on April 1 while stationed at Travis Air Force Base.
