KAUST has sought to be an effective academic institution by increasing human capabilities and expanding interdisciplinary research and innovations locally and regionally supported by an advanced infrastructure equipped with advanced technologies under the umbrella of the University’s Artificial Intelligence Initiative and its Director Professor Jürgen Schmidhuber.

KAUST is working to increase the human capacity and innovation of AI in Saudi Arabia and the region. The summit is a central hub, aligning stakeholders for dialogue and strategy.

The exhibition included visual presentations of the programs and models of devices that It works with AI technology.

The president of KAUST appeared on the first day of the summit, which started on Tuesday, through a direct dialogue with Oliver Barrett (founder of Connector Unit). He said that artificial intelligence contributed to the development of industry, innovation and infrastructure, and solving global problems.
