Non-profits reinventing events for 2021

Samantha Boring Created: January 26, 2021 07:14 AM (ABC 6 NEWS) - Throughout 2020, events were canceled or postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and some of those events were pushed to 2021.  Now that 2021 is here, and the pandemic is still raging on, many of those plans have to be changed.  Some events are moving to a virtual platform and others are being forced to cancel for the second year in a row.  The event, Wit, Wisdom, and Wine  put on at the Rochester Public Library by the Rochester Public Library Foundation will be entirely online from January 28 to the 30.  We ve had to reinvent everything this year, said Executive Director of the RPL Foundation, Brenda Kardock.

The donation brings the total given to The Hormel Foundation from The Karl Potach Foundation of $711,500 since 2008.
