California boy Wesley Welling, who was killed when a crazed driver plowed his car into a group of students, died on his mom’s birthday – and she recalled that her last words to him were, “I’m proud of you. I love you.”

More than 600 people attended a vigil Wednesday after a driver struck four Westlake High students with his car on Tuesday, killing a 15-year-old.

Driver in deadly incident now being identified.

A 15-year-old was killed after a crime-spree suspect drove into a group of students outside Westlake High School in Thousand Oaks. Three other students were sent to the hospital. The suspect, Austin Eis, is accused of possibly running over the students on purpose.

One student was killed and three others injured when a stabbing suspect ploughed into them on the pavement. Police allege the crash was intentional.

The students were leaving Westlake High School in in Thousand Oaks on Tuesday afternoon when they were struck by the vehicle, which flipped over, trapping the driver inside.
