Auto supplier Magna to invest USD 790 mln to build three new facilities, ET Auto

Canadian auto parts maker Magna International Inc plans to invest USD 790 million in three new supplier facilities, supporting Fords second-generation electric truck production, aiming to meet surging demand for environmentally friendly vehicles. The investment will create up to 1,300 jobs, with production scheduled to begin in 2025.

LG Electronics eyes global top 10 position in vehicle components, targets 20 trillion won revenue by 2030, ET Auto

South Korean company LG Electronics has set a target of KRW 100tn (USD 77bn) in sales by 2030 and plans to invest KRW 50tn, according to a company statement. The company also aims at becoming a global top 10 player in manufacturing vehicle components, as well as strengthening services on its home appliance and TV businesses that generate recurring profits, such as media subscriptions and rentals.
