STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Staten Island’s school zone speed cameras continue to rake in millions of dollars while issuing tickets to tens of thousands of borough residents each month.
At this point, there are well over 100 ticketing speed camera locations throughout Staten Island, but some are doling out tickets at a much higher rate than others.

But some speed cameras seem to be catching more drivers than others.
With Mayor Bill de Blasio currently pushing the state legislature to expand the city’s speed camera program to operate seven days a week, 365 days a year, compared to the current operating hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, we took a look at which Staten Island speed camera locations have issued the most violations in recent months.
