A police force has been severely criticised for its failure over a four year period to investigate allegations about ian watkins, the former lead singer of the band lost prophets, who was convicted in 2013 of 13 child sex offences. An investigation by the independent Police Complaints commission has found that South Wales Police failed to act on eight reports and three intelligence logs from six different people about watkins. The ipcc said the force had dismissed allegations made by watkins ex girlfriend and had failed to look at incriminating texts from watkins on her phone, because officers believed she lacked credibility. If he signs it, it means there will be a lot more parents vaccinating their kids in the year ahead. A belief exemption is to prevent vaccinating your kids, that will no longer exist. If it becomes law, parents will need a medical reason if they want to avoid immunizing their kids. After january 1, 2016, that belief will no longer apply. Advocates of the bill hope this means in the future it should cut down on the number of outbreaks of diseases like whopping off and the measles with visitors going to disney lands. Both corroborate the story saying that firefighters were in fact inside this building. Im also told that those firefighters spoke derick ion almena the man renting out the warehouse. So far no explanation as to why a visit like the one they are describing does not show up on Fire Department records. It might just be some sort of communication issue. Reporter this wouldnt be the first such communication issue. We know building inspectors were responding to complaints about the warehouse right around the time of that event in 2014. We have video of police poking around inside the building in october of this year. But none of that was enough to produce action by the city something the mayor identified as a problem just days after the fire.
