Spencer, IA (KICD)– We are several months into the COVID-19 vaccination process in Iowa with a number of people already having received their shot, but there are some that are still a little bit hesitant.
Dr. David Keith is a family medicine physician with Avera Medical Group Spencer and medical director for Clay County Public Health. He was our guest on Saturday’s Clay County COVID Update where he shared some of the science behind the mRNA vaccines.
Dr. Keith says there may be a small percentage of people who should consider consulting their doctor before getting a vaccine like this simply for safety purposes.
