BUCHAREST (Romania), May 7 (SeeNews) - Brazilian food company BRF said that it has concluded the sale of Banvitfoods to Romanian poultry meat producer and distributor Aaylex Group for 20.3 million euro ($24.5 million).
The transaction was carried through indirectly controlled subsidiaries Nutrinvestment BV and Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayii AS, BRF said in a regulatory disclosure file posted on its website on May 4.
The purchase price is subject to post-closing adjustments which are common to transactions of such nature, it added.

BUCHAREST (Romania), March 11 (SeeNews) - Romanian poultry processor and distributor Aaylex Group said on Thursday it has invested 15 million euro ($17.8 million) in a new unit for the production of chicken sausages.
The investment included research, development, testing, recipe stabilisation, special packaging, brand building, logistics and distribution for the new product, the company said in a press release.
The facility employs integrated robotics and automation solutions and special biosecurity conditions.
The company aims to distribute its new product in Romania and abroad - in Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, Slovakia, and in the Middle East.
