Carolyn May (Moyer) Green, 99, of Bluffton passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born at home near Mt. Cory on the family farm to Fred and Salva (Steiner) Moyer on May 16, 1924. She was the youngest of three children.

Matthew "Matt" Hanenkrath died Tuesday, June 27 after responding to a fire call. Hankrath was the Chief at South Richland Fire Department and was a responder to a house fire call. Hanenkrath was 40 years old and is survived by his wife, Ashley, and three children Haleigh, Brynn, and Bentley.
