Citizens have to call a toll-free number which will send an OTP. The delivery personnel will visit the house/place at an appointed time, verify the OTP, and collect copies of applications and supporting documents. They will later apply for the service at the department concerned.
The government will offer 55 services under the Jan Sevak programme including BBMP khatha transfer, Ayushman Bharath-Arogya Karnataka (AB-ARK) cards, revenue, police and food & civil supply services, and corrections in one’s Aadhaar card.
The government will also soon introduce e-stamping services offered by the stamps & registration department, and transport department services under the Jan Sevak programme. The government will eventually extend Jan Sevak all over Karnataka, the minister said.
