Team president Jason Wright said in a local radio Wednesday that a return to the former name is 'not being considered' by the team. Wright's response comes after an online petition amassed more than 100,000 signatures in an attempt for the team to change its name back to the Redskins.

For many, Dan Snyder's departure served as an inspiration. Timmy and Amy Mawyer decided to become first-time season ticket holders in November, shortly after the team announced that Snyder hired an investment bank to explore sale. The married couple spent $3,000 for two tickets.

Jason Wright initially answered with one word when asked if he views a sale of the Washington Commanders as a positive. "Yes," the team president said.

Rivera disagreed with a number of the report's findings -- he called the weight room (which received a C+ from the 'PA) and training room (F-) "more than adequate" -- but those personal objections haven't stopped the Commanders from already making changes to their facilities.

Washington Commanders president Jason Wright said Saturday he believes the franchise will still be able to take up residence at a new stadium before FedEx Field's lease expires in 2027, despite the setbacks to the team's search in recent months.
