TCN Reduces 25MW Power Supply For Aba To 10MW As Nigeria's Electricity Crisis Deepens

As the nationwide electricity crisis deepens, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has reduced electricity supply to the Aba Ring-fenced area by more than 50 percent.   SaharaReporters gathered from sources close to Aba Power that the reduction started last week, with supplies dropping from 25 Megawatts to 10MW without any official explanation or apology.   Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Aba Power, Patrick Umeh, confirmed the drastic reduction in a telephone interview.
