The highest court also rejected the affidavits submitted by yoga guru and entrepreneur Ramdev, along with the managing director of Patanjali Ayurved, Balkrishna, offering unconditional apologies for the publication of “misleading” advertisements. The apex court also cracked the whip on the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority for choosing to turn a blind eye to the misleading advertisements. It asked all the officers who had served as district ayurvedic and unani officers from 2018 till now to file affidavits within two weeks, explaining their inaction against Patanjali Ayurved.
